I provide therapy through the Cognitive-Behavioural approach. I consider the effect of our interpretations, assumptions, thoughts, and beliefs on our experienced emotions and manifested effects of our cognition which are behaviours as the main reason for mental disorders and other sufferings in life. I believe the reciprocal connection between the mind and body so we need to pay attention to both sides in therapy.
The Third Wave of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy including Mindfulness-based CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) are the other approaches I utilize in psychotherapy whenever it is needed.
In the counselling and life coaching, I apply the Solution-focused and Strength-based approaches.
