My Approach

I provide psychotherapy through the Cognitive-Behavioural approach. 

Cognitive therapy considers thoughts and beliefs as the main reason for experienced emotions.

Behavioural therapy works on the manifestation of our emotions, our behaviours, habits, and body sensations.

 

The Third Wave of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy includes mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). They all stem from CBT. I utilize their techniques whenever it is needed. 

 

Clinical Hypnosis is a kind of therapy that needs its special assessment/intake session. It works with our subconscious mind. Changing habits, weight control, smoking cessation, stress management, reducing depression, empowering and increasing self-esteem, pain management, and childhood regression, and more are issues that clinical hypnosis can be applied.

 

In counselling and life coaching, I apply the Solution-focused and Strength-based approaches.
