My Approach

At my practice, I specialize in Cognitive-behavioral therapy to help you make positive changes in your life. My approach is evidence-based, and I tailor my techniques to fit your individual needs. CBT blends Cognitive Therapy's focus on thoughts and beliefs as primary determinants of emotions with Behavioral Therapy's emphasis on observable behaviours, habits, and bodily sensations.


I also incorporate techniques from the Third Wave of CBT, including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), all rooted in CBT principles.


Additionally, I integrate Clinical Hypnosis, a therapy requiring a specialized assessment/intake session that targets the subconscious mind. Clinical Hypnosis can address various issues such as habit change, weight control, smoking cessation, stress management, depression reduction, empowerment, self-esteem enhancement, pain management, and childhood regression.


In life coaching and counselling, I employ the Solution-focused and Strength-based approaches to assist you to be focused on your goals, plan for them realistically, and cope with procrastination.
